Using poetry to share stories and inspirational journeys of Lumina Homeowners and how they achieve their affordable house and lot Bahay Goals, Lumina Homes will hold an online spoken poetry contest called "Kwentong Lumina, Kwentong Tagumpay."

Lumina Homes, one of the leading affordable house and lot developers in the Philippines, also has its own delightful and entertaining event for interested Lumina homeowners and Lumina Bida Sellers to bond and reunite in preparation for this contest.

Lumina Homes' Christmas celebration this year is anchored with the theme "Sa Paskong Lumina, Ikaw ang Bida," through this spoken poetry contest, Lumina Homeowners and Lumina Bida Sellers will be highlighted. The activity aims to encourage them to showcase their talent and artistry while being an inspiration to others that also dreams of having their own affordable house and lot.

Spoken poetry is word-based performance art. It is a poem meant to be spoken or delivered with emotions to an audience, an oral art that focuses on the aesthetics of wordplay, rhythm, and provisions, rhyme, intonation, and voice inflection.

How to join "Kwentong Lumina, Kwentong Tagumpay" Spoken Poetry Contest?

"Kwentong Lumina, Kwentong Tagumpay" spoken poetry contest is exclusively open for Lumina Homeowners and Lumina Bida Sellers.

Participants must create a poem that will feature a Lumina Homeowner and the story behind the homeownership. It must be an original composition. Then, a video shall be created while reciting the poem along with the subtitle or transcript. The video entry made must be uploaded to the participant's personal Facebook account. Post must be set into "Public" and shall tag "Lumina Official" Facebook in the caption. The video link entry must be posted by the participant in the comment box on the announcement poster.

Submission of entries is still ongoing until its deadline on December 20, 2020. The announcement of the winner will be on December 23, 2020, on the official Facebook Page.

The spoken poetry winner will receive Php 3,000 cash prize, while the Lumina Homeowner that served as the inspiration for the poem will be given a grocery basket. The winning piece for this contest will be uploaded on the Lumina Official Facebook Page.
