Preview of Lumina Hiphop to the Top Official Entries

Starting the year with an energy-filled activity, Lumina Homes launched its newest challenge through a dance competition to its social media followers.

This national dancing competition was open to the public whether they live in or near the Lumina Homes communities. Participants who have the best and most unique way of doing this challenge can have a chance to win P10,000 in the Hip-hop to the Top Nationwide Dance Contest.

The mechanics for the Hip hop to the Top Nationwide Dance Contest is pretty simple:

First, participants must choose at least one tourism attraction in their hometown and the nearby Lumina Homes community in their area. Both of these must be included in the 3 to 5-minute dance video that they made. The good thing about this hiphop dance contest is that the participants could choose any song they wanted to use for their video entry.

They had a wide range of Lumina Homes communities to choose from that they could include in their video such as:

Second, participants sent their entries to [email protected] before January 29, 2022, in order to officially join this dance competition with the subject format: LUMINA HIP-HOP TO THE TOP - (NAME OF YOUR GROUP) FROM (NAME OF PROVINCE.

So far, 16 dance groups were able to officially join the Hip hop to the Top Nationwide Dance Contest. The following are the list of the dance groups who successfully submitted their entries:

• Tambulig Dance Community of Zamboanga del Sur

• Luminnials of Iloilo
• Royal Dutch of Bacolod
• Dance Republic Organization of Batangas
• Intimo Dance Community of Bulacan

You can watch all their videos on Lumina's official YouTUbe Channel and support your favorite group by sharing and liking their videos until February 26, 2022.

Lastly, all of these official entries were reviewed by the Lumina Panel and were posted on Lumina’s Official YouTube Channel last February 1, 2022.

The Criteria for judging for the Hip hop to the Top Nationwide Dance Contest will be:

• Choreography - 20%
• Overall Performance - 30%
• Creative Editing - 20%
• YouTube Views - 30%

The dance group video that will gain the highest score can win the following prizes:

• 1st Prize:              Php 10, 000
• 2nd Prize:             Php 7, 000
• 3rd Prize:              Php 3, 000
