Skip the line! Check your SSS Contribution Online

Skip the Line Check your SSS Contribution Online

All Social Security System (SSS) members can now view and verify their SSS contributions online. In order to keep track of your SSS monthly contribution payments, work history, SSS loan status, and other personal information, the Social Security System has created an online facility. This means that you no longer have to leave the comfort of your own home when you are looking for information regarding your Social Security Number (SSN) and other details about your account.

Checking your SSS payments on a regular basis helps guarantee that your employer is remitting them in a timely and accurate manner.

On the other hand, if you're self-employed or a volunteer member of the SSS, reviewing your contributions will let you know if you've missed any payments so that you may correct them. You'll be reminded to pay your SSS premiums for the future month or quarter as well.

How to check my SSS contributions online using the SSS website?

Checking your Social Security payments through the My.SSS interface is pretty simple but you must make sure first that you have a My.SSS account. If you haven't already, you can sign up for a free account on the SSS website.

Once you've successfully enrolled for an online SSS account, you may now follow these steps to see your SSS contribution online:

Step 1. Go to the SSS Website.

You may access the SSS website at www.sss.gov.ph and learn more about the agency. A pop-up message "I'm not a robot" will show as soon as you access the website. Just tick the box and click 'Submit' to proceed.

Step 2. Sign in to your SSS account.

The SSS website homepage has three links on the right panel: Member, Employer, and Small Business Wage Subsidy Program. Select 'Member' from the drop-down menu. A brand-new page will then emerge. Your SSS User ID and SSS Password must be entered here.

Meanwhile, the "Forgot User ID or Password?" option beneath the Submit button can help you if you've lost your credentials. A page will appear on a screen where you'll have to input your user ID (if you merely lost your password) or your e-mail address (if you forgot both your user ID and password). My.SSS account login data may be retrieved or reset by submitting this form and receiving instructions through email from SSS.

Step 3. Visit the SSS Contribution Inquiry webpage.

"Contributions" may be accessed by hovering your cursor over the “Inquiry” tab. Click "Contributions" and then you'll be sent to the following page as a result:

This might imply that you were unemployed during that time period or that your company hasn't yet made any payments to your retirement account.

Count up your total SSS contributions and payments by scrolling down to the bottom. You may also download and print the page for your own convenience.

Important Note:In the event that you notice anomalies or inconsistencies in your SSS contributions online, contact your HR department (if you're employed) or make the necessary corrections (if you're self-employed.). This way, you won't run into any issues if you ever need to apply for an SSS loan or collect benefits.

Checking my SSS contributions through the SSS mobile app

If you'd want to learn how to quickly access SSS on your mobile device, the SSS mobile app is now available for iOS and Android devices and may be installed. You may log in using your My.SSS credentials to see how much you've contributed. The same steps as above should be followed in order to check your payment details.

In addition to this, even if you've previously learned how to monitor your SSS contributions online, you may also do this via text message. All you have to do is to text SSS CONTRIB<SSS NUMBER><PIN> and then send it to 2600.

Importance of checking your posted contribution online

Regularly verifying your SSS contribution is well worth the effort and time it takes to learn how to do so because:

  • If you work for a company, you need to make sure that your employer is paying you the proper amount and on time.
  • Members who work for themselves or volunteer their time should keep an eye on their SSS contributions to identify any errors or omissions as soon as possible so that they may make the appropriate corrections.
  • In order to determine whether you are qualified for SSS benefits such as a salary loan or a calamity loan, as well as other member advantages such as SSS disability benefits or SSS unemployment benefits, you should verify your contributions online before applying.

Remember: Within a particular time frame, you must fulfill the necessary monthly payments to be eligible for an SSS loan or other benefit.
