The earthquake had a significant impact on the lives of many people as well as the livelihoods of many enterprises and infrastructures. In fact, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, almost 13, 000 individuals have been impacted by the earthquake as of 6 a.m. on July 27.
On top of that, it was also recorded that 541 people have been evacuated and are in temporary housing, while 128 people are still living in their homes outside of the evacuation zones that day. Four people lost their lives and 115 were wounded as a result of the earthquake.
Meanwhile, in Abra, where the epicenter was located, several citizens slept outside because they feared returning to their houses. To protect the safety of their families, some of them decided to have camped overnight on the sidewalks and parks.
